To all Dome Users

The Dome will remain open as usual, unless and until the government requires otherwise, in  common with other similar facilities

You will be aware of the Government’s advice about travel and social gatherings and it is for you to make your own decision, but we feel that playing at the Dome is a useful facility to help ‘normal’ healthy people maintain their health and well-being in troubled times. So don’t come if you are feeling unwell or if you are higher risk but otherwise you are welcome to turn up as usual.

We are implementing more cleaning of doors and hard flat surfaces in the hall, but do your best not to touch them anyway.

Also – please ensure everyone in your Group respects the following:

  • wash your hands with soap and water often –for at least 20 seconds
  • wash your hands when you arrive at the venue and again when you leave
  • bring your own alcohol-based hand sanitiser gel for use if soap and water is not available.
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve (not hands) when you cough or sneeze, and then immediately wash your hands again
  • put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands.
  • avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

  • handshake, high-five or fist pump (be offended) – bow or nod instead
  • touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
  • Don’t share drinks bottles or drinks
  • turn up if you have flu like symptoms

We appreciate we are sociable and like to greet people and celebrate points. However, for the foreseeable future, please do not take offence if other people avoid direct human contact with you.

If you do feel the need to cancel your booking, please let Dome Bookings know in advance of the booking date and you will receive a credit against your next invoice.

Regards, on behalf of the Dome Sub-Committee
